Born in Bayreuth in 1967. The artist graduated from the Nuremberg Academy of Fine Arts, master class Johannes Grützke. His work focuses on people with their intimate and social interconnections, and with the means of classical painting, he provides insights into the subliminal, the hidden, the unsaid. Portrait painting represents another important point in his artistic engagement. He has taught as a lecturer at the University of Arts Linz, conducts art seminars and workshops and has a lively exhibition activity in Austria, Germany, Italy and the USA.
