At the start of the Long Night of Munich Museums in 1999, Serviceplan managing director Ronald Focken was asked by initiator Ralf Gabriel whether the agency would support the project free of charge. The Serviceplan creative team agreed immediately. The first campaign was thus launched with a picture of Mona Lisa and an ice pack on her head. It was a huge success, with 50,000 visitors!
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the series of events and the Akthof is an essential part of the anniversary program.
We are very proud to welcome the former main decision maker Alt OB Christian Ude and the initiator Ralf Gabriel, together with Ronald, today on the board for Akthof, to our beautiful studio for a nice round of talks with anecdotes from 25 years.
Before that, there will be a curated art exhibition, demonstrations and dance performances by Munich Dance Group starting at 6 pm. The conversation is at 20:00 and afterwards there is a special drawing marathon for everyone with live models, cool beats and drinks until 1 o'clock in the morning.
You're all cordially invited - let's make a long night out of it!
Tickets for the Long Night of Museums are of course also sold at Akthof.
