Portrait in Oil
In this course, we paint portraits from models. The preferred painting technique is oil; if you are more experienced with acrylic paints, use this technique as experience in this course is an advantage.
In a first monochrome light/dark study, it is easy to concentrate on face shapes and lighting conditions.
After we have gained certainty in the form and in the tonal values, we will look at the color. Even from the basic colors yellow-red-blue and white, you can mix skin tones and create images of a wide variety of colors, from “impressionistic” to “expressive.” If you supplement the palette with earth colors, the possibilities for Incarnate are endless!
Materials: oil or acrylic paints with brushes, palette, painting rags. For the initial sketches, it is recommended to bring drawing material.

Only after receipt of Down payment of 25€ you will receive confirmation of your registration from us and your place in the booked course will be bindingly reserved for you. If the course is already fully booked, we will inform you immediately.
Cancellation: The cancellation of a course registration must be made in writing. If the cancellation is received up to 15 days before the start of the course, you will be refunded the course fee minus the deposit paid. If you cancel from the 14th day before the start of the course or if you do not show up, no refund of the course fee is possible.
The decisive time for the cancellation is its receipt by us. Alternatively, it is always possible to provide us with a substitute participant. All details are in our General terms and conditions to read.
