For me, the process of painting is an intense experience, a way of becoming one with the colors, motifs and shapes that surround me. I am fascinated by the encounter between humans and nature, in particular through figural compositions in water, where the contours dissolve and blur with the powerful colors of the body of water.
The visual artist and painter Michael Wörle grew up in the midst of picturesque scenery at the foot of the Zugspitze, which shaped and inspired him early on. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, gained experience studying in the USA, Spain and Italy and has presented his impressive works in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad.
He lives near Munich as a freelance artist and teacher of painting and drawing. His works have been supported with scholarships and received various awards.
