Everyone should have the opportunity to learn actively, individually and with all their senses. As a lecturer, I can offer students opportunities and materials and accompany them attentively, but everyone learns to “walk” on their own if you just let them.
Illustrator and sculptor Anette Bley began her artistic studies in the nude drawing classes of Joseph Patrick and Sue Hettmannsberger at the University of Iowa, USA.
She completed her art studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich as a master student with Prof Robin Page.
At the “Institute for Holistic Learning Based on Montessori Education,” she received her diploma from Klaus Dieter Kaul.
As an illustrator, she has published numerous books for children and young people, including Ars Edition, Arena, Aare, Thienemanns, Ravensburger Buchverlag and in the musical picture book series with Annette Betz. The licenses for her books range from Austria, France, Spain, Italy, the USA, Brazil to China and Taiwan.
She currently works primarily as a sculptor and lecturer in Munich.
